Troop 216 Wins Regional First Aid Challenge
Members of Boy Scout Troop 216 participated in the annual First Aid Challenge, which took place March 5th at Highlands school.
Over 150 scouts participated in the meet, which include four emergency medical scenario's that each patrol had to treat/triage while being judged for medical knowledge, accurate treatment, and triage ability. Cool heads prevailed as Troop 216 brought home the Presidential Award - the event's top honor. After being made up to appear injured with various fractures and bodily injuries, several hundred volunteers acted as victims, and made it difficult for the scouts to accurately diagnose their injuries.
