Last week several businesses in the area (LaGrange, Countryside, Riverside) had collection bins set up to collect items for victims of Hurricane Sandy in the New York area.  

All the items collected (in just six days) were sorted and loaded onto "Tough Truck Tommy" by Greek Orthodox High School students during an overnight retreat! 

We posted the collection as an event on the LaGrange Patch and just wanted to say thank you to all of you who supported the collection and also let you get an update of what is going on.  See Tommy's blog for photos and more.
