On Nov. 10,  the Citizens' Council of La Grange slated three candidates for the three open trustee positions on the La Grange Public Library Board. The slated candidates include: Caroline Coryell (incumbent), Bridgette O'Connor and John Reardon.

The Council also voted to extend the deadline to receive applications for only the Village Board Trustee positions to November 28 at 5 p.m. Presently the Council has received only two applications for the three open Village Board Trustee positions. These applicants are Mark Kuchler (incumbent) and Jeffrey Nowak.

The Council will interview candidates for the Park District Board on Wednesday, December 1 and for the Village Board, Wednesday, December 8. All interviews will take place at 7:00 p.m. at La Grange Village Hall, 53 S. La Grange, Road.  The public is invited to attend.
